Fixed exhaust extractors
mounted on swinging arms.

A wide range of operation provides a neat solution for exhaust gas problems.
PlymoVent’s double articulated swinging arm used to support exhaust hose or single arm with exhaust reel are simple and space-saving methods for extracting exhaust gases in truck workshops and car service halls. The ideal solution when extraction is needed during indoor running or where the layout of the premises and type of vehicles mean complete coverage is required over a large area. For example in workshops for plant vehicles and buses.

Exhaust hose on a double articulated swinging arm enables the vehicles to move within a maximum radius of 8-9 meters from the attachment point of the swinging arm. Alternatively a swinging arm can be used in conjunction with a manual hose reel incorporating 6 m of exhaust hose. This provides superior flexibility and range of operation. The exhaust reel keeps the hose rolled up and out of the way when not in use.
The ideal from an operating point of view is to have the hose clear of the floor, but still within reach. The best solution without an exhaust reel is a balancer mounted on the arm. This lifts the hose and makes it "weightless". The balancer is especially useful when handling larger hoses.
The swinging arm can be connected to an existing central ducting system, of suitable capacity, or to a separate fan mounted directly on the wall bracket of the arm.

The combination of a swinging arm and an exhaust reel with a 6 metres standard hose length provides superior flexibility and range of operation.

In workshops for buses and plant vehicles the superior range of operation of the swinging arm proves invaluable.

The mounting bracket of the swinging arm is prepared for mounting a fan.
